ARISE. PRAY. SLAY.

ARISE. PRAY. SLAY.

How Healing Breaks Forth When God’s People Rise Up in Faith

“Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily…”

— Isaiah 58:8

Throughout Scripture, every major move of God began when His people responded to His voice.

They arose.

They prayed.

They confronted the enemy.

And Heaven responded.

After three powerful days of prayer and fasting, the Lord released a prophetic mandate over His people:

ARISE. PRAY. SLAY.

This was not merely a theme for a church gathering.

This was a Kingdom assignment.

A divine summons from Heaven calling believers into a greater dimension of authority, intimacy, healing, and breakthrough.

As we walked through these three days, we witnessed the power of God moving among His people. We saw chains broken, hearts restored, minds renewed, bodies touched, and faith awakened.

Why?

Because healing flows where God’s people arise, pray, and intentionally wage war against sickness, disease, and every work of darkness.

ARISE: Position Yourself for Healing

The first command was to arise.

Throughout Scripture, healing often began with movement.

Jesus frequently spoke these words:

“Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.” (John 5:8)

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.” (Isaiah 60:1)

To arise means more than physically standing.

It means awakening spiritually.

It means refusing to remain under the weight of fear, discouragement, sickness, limitation, and unbelief.

Many believers are waiting for God to move while God is waiting for them to arise.

When the lame man at the pool of Bethesda responded to the voice of Jesus and arose, healing manifested.

When blind Bartimaeus threw aside his garment and arose, his sight was restored.

When Jairus arose in faith despite the report of death, resurrection power entered his home.

Healing often begins with a decision to rise above what has been holding us down.

Healing Principle

You cannot remain in agreement with your affliction and expect to walk in God’s restoration.

Faith arises.

Hope arises.

Expectation arises.

And when faith rises, healing often follows.

PRAY: Pull Heaven Into Earth

The second command was to pray.

Prayer is not a religious activity.

Prayer is spiritual legislation.

Prayer is partnership with God.

Prayer is how Heaven invades earthly circumstances.

James writes:

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16)

The Greek language suggests explosive power being released through persistent prayer.

Prayer changes atmospheres.

Prayer shifts circumstances.

Prayer breaks strongholds.

Prayer opens doors.

Prayer releases healing.

James continues:

“And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.” (James 5:15)

Notice the connection between prayer and healing.

Throughout the ministry of Jesus, prayer and healing worked together.

Before miracles, there was communion with the Father.

Before breakthroughs, there was prayer.

Before manifestations, there was intimacy.

Healing is often birthed in the place of prayer.

Prayer Releases Healing

Jesus taught:

“Whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” (Matthew 21:22)

When believers pray according to God’s Word, they align themselves with Heaven’s will.

And healing is God’s will.

“Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.” (Psalm 103:3)

SLAY: Wage War Against Sickness

The third command was to slay.

This is where many believers struggle.

We pray for healing, but we often tolerate the very thing God has called us to confront.

The Bible never teaches us to make peace with the works of darkness.

Jesus came:

“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)

Notice the word destroy.

Not manage.

Not coexist with.

Destroy.

Sickness was never God’s original design.

Disease was never part of Eden.

Pain was never God’s intention for humanity.

Jesus consistently treated sickness as something to be confronted and overcome.

He rebuked fevers.

He cast out infirmities.

He cleansed lepers.

He opened blind eyes.

He raised the dead.

He destroyed the works of darkness wherever He went.

Believers are called to do the same.

Spiritual Warfare and Healing

Paul reminds us:

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood…” (Ephesians 6:12)

Our warfare is spiritual.

We fight with:

  • Prayer
  • Faith
  • The Word of God
  • The Name of Jesus
  • The Blood of the Lamb

When believers arise in authority, pray with fervency, and slay every lie of the enemy, healing often manifests.

Healing Through the Finished Work of Christ

The greatest healing scripture in the Bible is found in Isaiah’s prophecy concerning Jesus:

“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows… and with his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:4-5)

Peter confirms:

“By whose stripes ye were healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)

Notice that healing was not merely promised.

Healing was purchased.

The stripes on Christ’s back became the covenant pathway for our restoration.

Every lash He endured carried away sickness.

Every wound He suffered secured healing.

The Cross settled the issue.

Healing belongs to God’s covenant people.

Fasting Positions Us for Breakthrough

During these three days of fasting and prayer, many experienced supernatural clarity, strength, healing, and breakthrough.

Isaiah 58 reveals God’s heart concerning fasting:

“Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily.” (Isaiah 58:8)

Notice what follows biblical fasting:

  • Light
  • Healing
  • Restoration
  • Deliverance
  • Divine guidance

Fasting does not move God.

Fasting positions us to hear God.

It removes distractions and increases spiritual sensitivity.

As we humble ourselves before God, Heaven releases fresh revelation and power.

We Are Coming With Testimonies

The Bible declares:

“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.” (Revelation 12:11)

Throughout this season we have witnessed:

  • Healing
  • Restoration
  • Deliverance
  • Answered prayer
  • Divine direction
  • Renewed faith
  • Supernatural strength

These testimonies are evidence that God is still moving among His people.

What He has done for one, He is able to do for another.

A Prophetic Declaration

Today I declare:

Arise from every place of discouragement.

Arise from every place of sickness.

Arise from every place of defeat.

Pray until Heaven responds.

Pray until chains break.

Pray until healing manifests.

Slay every lie of the enemy.

Slay every agreement with fear.

Slay every spirit of infirmity.

Slay every stronghold that has tried to keep you bound.

For the Lord is releasing healing.

The Lord is releasing restoration.

The Lord is releasing breakthrough.

The Lord is releasing supernatural strength.

The season of silence is ending.

The season of manifestation has begun.

ARISE! PRAY! SLAY!

And watch the healing power of God move mightily in your life.

In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
